Complaint Details
On 13/09/2012, I went in this park with my family and wanted to buy a bottle of mineral water. They asked Rs.25 per bottle. Printed MRP is Rs.10 only. I tried to reason with them to take Rs.5 more for refrigeration or whatever reason, but they couldn't charge 2.5 times more than the MRP on such basic need like water. I even told them about the set guidelines from the govt. of India. They did not pay heed to my concern. When I told them about consumer forum, the officer replied, "There came many who tried to say such big things about consumer forums in here. Nobody could complain. Go and do what you want." My only concern is to stop them from charging 2-4 times more on such essential item, such as bottle of water which they don't even produce. It's a third party product (Kenley Mineral Water). I bought the bottle just for proof and I have the bill with me, ready to be produced at appropriate platform. Please help us tax-paying citizens.
