Complaint Details
On March 17, 2014, I had placed an order on the pepperfry website (www.pepperfry.com) for a "Basil Sliding Crocery Cabinet -Walnut Light". The SKU details are:FM1064136-
P-OD1955-Walnut
Light and Order #300305410. The scheduled date of shipment as per the receipt was "April 16, 2014". It may be noted that the entire consideration for the product (of INR 15999) was paid upfront, which was a pre condition for the order to be processed by Pepperfry. As on date we have NOT received the product, nor have we received any communication/notification from Pepperfry, informing us of the status of delivery. On calling their customer care number thrice (each dated April 17, 18 and 19, 2014), we are only informed that someone from the relationship team will contact us within 24 hours of the call. Regretfully we have received no such call. We request CCI to register a complaint against Pepperfry for intentionally cheating and defrauding us by taking the full payment of the product with no intention of delivery. We request CCI to take necessary steps against the company to ensure either prompt delivery of the product or complete refund of the amount with interest.
