Dear Sir/Madam,
I had sent a very important document package twice through the Blue Dart Express Ltd.to New Delhi, Health Ministry , I paid extra for Delivery by 10;30 am , For the first delivery on April 9th , they called me saying the dispatcher is being asked to deliver by the mail room and wanted to know if that was fine with was called regarding the same and was given the reason of delayed delivery being the time taken to confirm with the customer and the shipment was delivered on 9th April 2;05 pm , instead of 10;30 , and my document processing was delayed by two days as the next day was holiday due to election.
The second time I sent the documents on 19th April 2014 , I had specified the delivery can happen in the Mail room , and had given the contact no of the person just in case problems occur. When I saw no updates online or on tracking the bill no,I called the customer care at 10;34 , they said they will confirm and call me in sometime
When I didn't receive the call , I called back and
I was told the delivery is done at 10;30 but when my contact person went to search for the package in the said Mail room , it wasn't delivered
I frantically called the Blur Dart Customer Service , they kept telling me its delivered and told me that the delivery person is not allowed to call the contact person
They couldn't provide me with any updates as to where my package was
I was in Mental Agony , and the customer service representative was least bothered to know where my package was .
It could have been misplaced ,lost or damaged ,I didn't know where it was
I was calling back and forth to the Delhi office but , no one would respond
I was told later that they will call the contact person and you contact him for the updates which I thought was very rude and uprofessional , as I being the customer , am entitiled to get updates of my parcel and I should not be expected to call the contact person and disturb him to get the updates
I finally somehow had to get hold of the person who delivered and got the package delivered around 1 pm which was supposed to be delivered before 10;30 am
My work was delayed as it didnt reach on time and had to waste those 3 hours frantically calling every possible customer service person
and almost spent a fortune there
My regret is after paying extra for delivery I wasn't given the service provided and didn't serve my purpose
I went through mental torture of my documents being lost and Blue Dart having no idea of where it was
I have attached the bill copies and delivery email for your reference
Please address it as soon as possible
