Complaint Details
I paid Rs. 2300 on 23/07/2012 to Tikona agent, Nitesh for a new connection. I was told that out of the Rs. 2300, 850 shall be adjusted in the first month's bill and the rest will be refunded by Rs. 100 every month in the bill if I refer 10 numbers to the client. Inspite of the promises, the first month's bill came and I was forced to pay it otherwise I was told they would cut my connection. Nor did I get a refund of Rs. 100 every month even when I referred 10 friends to Tikona agent. On complaining on around 15 August, nothing was done. I wasn't even provided a complaint number. I continued with the connection and I was soon told that the monthly bill is advance and not to be paid at the end which wasn't disclosed in the beginning. I paid the bill. Every now and then, the Internet was faltering but it would be resolved by a call. Past 1 week, Internet had been faltering everyday and after repeated complaints, an engineer visited to check, corrected the issue and it again happened after 1 hour of his leaving. On calling the consumer court everyday since 2 days, nothing was done and I was told the same thing that it would be resolved in 24 hours. I had requested 3 times to connect me to a senior but I was told that a senior would contact me soon which never happened. Today when I shouted on an online support for a solution and to put a senior official on line, he put my call on indefinite hold and didn't answer back. This is the way I was treated. On calling again and shouting for a solution, my call was disconnected within 10 seconds by another engineer. I want my money refund of the past 2 months and installation charges.
