It has been a very frustrating experience of being with airtel till now. I purchased a nokia lumia 610 and it was told to me by the dealer that i am entitled to 3G data plan upto 8GB for 4 months. I confirmed this with airtel customer care and who told me that you are entitled to 8GB 3G data which can be consumed either in 1st day, 1st month or during the 4 months. Today i got a message from airtel that my bill amounting to Rs.1230 has been generated. I was shocked to see the bill amount and I downloaded detail bill and what i have noticed that airtel has restricted my 3G data usage upto 2GB during the first month and they charged me for usage of 3G data over 2GB. I called them but their executive cut my phone twice and not seems to be interested in my complaint. What is worst part about airtel is that they didn't even informed me via sms that I have consumed my limit of 3G data for first month. Their illiterate customer care executives doesn't know properly about the plans their company is offering and then the innocent customers like me has to bear the result of their illiteracy. I never got the bill more than Rs.600 with 3GB data plan amounting to Rs.450 and i was very happy that this month my bill would not be more than Rs.200 but its 1230 this month. you should be ready to expect the most unexpected things from airtel. I really don't want to pay them the amount they charged for 3G data. Firstly their customer care representative wrongly explained me the plan and then airtel failed to communicate that I have consumed my 3G data limit for this month then why should I pay for 3G data charges ??
