I had bought a water purifier from Eureka Forbes in April and the product is still under warranty. This product was installed on the wall by qualified Eureka Forbes personnel along with the person who had marketed the product (Ananda M.C, ph: 9972832903 / 9620565697). Due to a faulty installation, the instrument fell off the wall. The product was broken and the circuit board in the product was completely burnt. I had raised a complaint regarding this through Eureka Forbes's telephone helpline on 19-Sep-2012. The complaint number is 68251297. I had been calling everyday 3-4 times but no action was taken from your end. Customer helpline executives attended so far that i can remember - Praveen, Imran.
After a few days I was informed that the complaint had ben registered to the wrong department and I had to raise the complaint again through the webservice in www.eurekaforbes.com. The webservice ticket number is c2ee51dc9329.
The complaint was finally attended. A service engineer (Narasimharaju, ph: 8892204808) was sent on 26-Sep-2012 who inspected the instrument. I was informed by the branch manager (Achut, ph: 9342310516) that only the spares could be replaced in the warranty period. The product is broken and the circuit board is completely burnt due to a faulty installation from qualified Eureka Forbes personnel. So I want a product replacement.
The ticket has been escalated to various levels in Eureka Forbes and still no action has been taken.
