Complaint Details
I have purchased sony xperia tipo mobile from adexmart.com on 21,oct, 2012. and i received it on 26th with manufacturing defect. then i called them for clarification. they asked me to go to sony service center and get dead on arrival certificate.
27 and 28 were public holidays. so i went on 29, but they refused to give DOA to me because it crossed seven days from date of invoice it seems. then i again called to adexmart for returning the product. first they refused and argued with me and later they gave one idea which is unauthorized.
they generated a duplicate copy of invoice to make the invoice date below 7 days and forced me to go to service center for DOA but they refused to give again as it is unauthorized. Now i again called adexmart, this time they asked me to send the product back. I have sent the product back but they are delaying the refund saying that they want to check from their end also that product is not working. In fact they themselves spoke to sony service center for requesting a DOA and now again they are simply giving lame answers to escape refunding my amount.Now they simply repaired my product some where outside and sending back to me that the product is working fine but i dont want to accept the same product from them. i want the refund of the amount mentioned which they promised that they will give me once they receive the product.

courier charges-850.(insisted to do in particular couriers)

travelling charges-500.

phone call bills-200.

loss of pay-1500.



Documents that i have.


1. proof issued by sony service center that product has a hardware issue.(work order stating that mic is not working in phone).


2. This screenshot is for date of purchase(21,oct,2012) and payment details.


3. Shipping details of the phone given by adexmart.com


4. Proof of delivery to my address on 26th oct.


5. Mail requesting to get a DOA from adexmart after calling them for the first time to inform that the product is not working.

6. Ticket id’s issued by sony service center for this issue saying that there is a hardware issue with mic in phone.

7. Mail from adexmart as a Proof of duplicate invoice issued by Adexmart and pressurizing me to go to service center again.

8. Duplicate invoice sent by Adexmart(which is illelegal and unauthorized).


9. Scanned copy of courier bill(which is a proof that i have returned them phone which is proved as defective by sony service center.

10. Proof of delivery of product sent by me to adexmart.
