Complaint Details
While visiting Mumbai in the month of june I had got one pair of spectacles for my wife made by Vision Express Shop no 7, Ground Floor. Kapoor Apartment, Chandavarkar Road, Borivali West, Mumbai 400 092.

The other details are Customer code 112093490 customer name Bharti Thakar, order no 8001813389 dated 13.06.2012. Cost Rs 4399 including frame.

While delivery was schedule for 17.06.12 the delivery was made after repeated phone calls, every time with one excuse or the other, on 22nd June when we were leaving for Delhi giving us no time to check the spectacles for its accuracy.

My wife kept complaining about the glasses as it had developed scratches on the glass within a month of use, so when we are again in Mumbai, we approached the shop for rectification/repair/replacement on 25th Oct 2012.

While Hitesh the person who took the complain told us that he will send the glasses to LAB and will let us know next day about the outcome. But as was last time I did not got any information till 29th October. On calling on 29th I was told by another person Krishan kant that the specs have gone to Kolkata lab and are expected tomorrow i.e. 30th October.
Again I had to place another call on 30th to know the status and I was again informed by another person Vijay that the Glasses have come back but nothing has been done on that as scratches are ACCIDENTAL. Let me explain here that the glasses were for my wife who is 57 yrs old and has been using glasses for more than twenty years and knows how to handle the glasses.

we visited the shop again and requested them to either CHANGE the LENS or Refund the cost of LENSES so that we can get it done somewhere else, but the staff Vijay who claims himself to be MANAGER refused to do either.

We are leaving for Delhi on 15th Nov and Vision Exp has not returned our glasses as yet.Thru this note I am requesting you to instruct the store manager to refund the cost of Lenses at the earliest.
The glasses had been sold to me as SCRATH PROOF now they are saying that there is nothing like scratch proof in the world . They must be punished for wrong commitment. for details you can visit their site and see the Comittments made there.
