Complaint Details
I purchased a Hitachi AC : RAW318KUD, which is a 1.5 Ton, 3 Star Window AC, on 30/4/2014 from Malhotra Enterprises at MGF the Plaza Mall, MG Road.
It was delivered on 1st May 2014, and installed at 11 pm night (which should have been installed in the day time).
Adding to my inconvenience, the AC did not work as desired and we could not get good cooling at all.

The service engineer had come and reported that the AC Coolant Gas has leaked and told that he would try to fix that ASAP; but that Sunday would be a holiday : and I should expect a solution only on Monday !!
When I asked the dealer Malhotra Enterprises, to replace the AC, he told that the warranty for the Gas leakage is only for 3 months & in case the Gas leaks after 3 months, I would be required to pay up for the Gas refill !.
Now it is my dilemma that even after 6 days of my purchase, my AC does not work. Further there is no escalation point for the mails sent to HITACHI. Is there a way by which I could return the AC and get a refund ? I am very sad to see this quality from Hitachi, which was told to me as one of the best AC brand
