Complaint Details
We purchased and got the connection done on 11th April 2012. It was not more than a month later that we started facing problems with the product. The level of the water was not rising since end of May 2012.
At the time of selecting the product we had intimated Eureka Forbes representative about low pressure of water flow at our home in particular. The representative assured that there will be no problem and insisted us to by this Enhance UV model.
We called about 2-3 times at the customer centre and explained the problem to them but every time a new representative from the customer care came to fix the problem.
We reported the same problem to the same representative but he did not act on this. We called him 2-3 times then he said he will send someone to change, by then it was already September 2012 and no one came from the company.
We have been trying to reach but no one from the company is ready to fix the problem.
This clearly has created a feeling of distrust in the product and the company.
The product is just lying with no use.
We again wrote and sent the redressal form to Ms. Vinath Hegde, Head Customer Care and Ms. Asha Idnani, Ombudsman both of Eureka Forbes, but still the problem is not fixed.
Repeatedly the company is only sending different service representatives but not addressing the matter.
We have requested for a replacement as the product is under Guarantee and warranty period. But the sales team is refusing and asking us to install a water pump at our cost.
This clearly proves that the product was sold with an intention to achieve only the sales target by dumping any product model to the customers and misguiding them. Moreover the reps are waiting to take an action only after the warrantee/guarantee period of the product will get over and charge us for the purifier additionally.
