HI,
I have cancelled my policy long back i.e. 12 th november and as per hdfc life policy if we cancelled the policy in the free look up period it would not take more than 6 days for neft for the amt to be credited in your acc but that did not happen i have taken 2 policy 1 is for 25,000/- the policy number is 15525838 and the other policy was for 50,000/- the policy number is 15525410 but only one policy money for 25,000/- went back to the credit card as i purchased the policy with my credit card,
when i called HDFC life customer care on 7th dec the agent and the supervisor told me that the refund for the 2nd policy is not yet processed as the NEFT is denied for unknown reason or i don;t remember the reason, and they informed me that they are processing the refund now on 7th december and i would get a cheque within 7 working days i info them that i need a cheque as the due date for my credit card has already passed because of the false commitment made by the HDFClife and i have converted the amt into emi as i cannot afford to pay such a big amt to credit card at one time.

i made another call to HDFLIFE on 17 th of december to enquire abt the refund status but the agent pooja told me that refund was processed on 14 december when i asked her that i should had got processed on 7 th december but she said no it got processed on 14 december, the refrence number is 17121242304 for the 17th december
call...
So this is my kind request to consumer complaints redressal council to take legal action against the company and charge them penalty...
