Hi,
Its been over 10 months since i had place my order of an Aakaash Tablet on 03 March 2012. After immediately making the payment by cheque as requested by datawind i still havent received the item i had paid for. After continuous attempts of trying to contact them via phone and email i finally received a response in November where i was offered a even better tablet if i paid extra. They then promised to deliver the tablet within 10 days. After placing the order online and option for 'Cash on Delivery' as i didnt trust them, i have received no responses on the status of my order. Their online status has been saying 'Order Received' from the day i placed the order. I sent another email last week informing datawind that i would formally lodge a complain with Consumer Complaints Redressal Council if i dont hear from then in 3 days, i have received no response.
I am really disappointed and feel cheated and was wondering if i receive any assistance from you.
I have attached a copy of the email trail of communication i have had with datawind in the last 10 months.
I hope i am fairly treated as a consumer.
