Hi

case no. -- SPU/12/10/29/0002

this is the email I wrote to them 1 month back, issue is still not resolved.

This email explain about the issue as well.

I am very disappointed when they replaced my Full HD LED TV by simply HD ready TV and they are trying to convince me that it is better from your present TV(Full HD LED TV).

Now I am wondering that Service center people think that “ customers are fool and anybody can sell anything “ . because they want to say that this HD ready is better than full HD ready TV.

This results that my believe is getting fade off day by day from AKAI company. I feel this service center & their people are destroying AKAI image & their Brand by making false statements about technology & their commitments.

I don’t want to get indulge in this escalation process & don’t want to write blogs everywhere but if this does not solve in my favor then I will not stop it here and will try my best to escalate it to each & every level.

Regards
Ankit goyal

NOTE -- :
Here I am giving you my description about FULL HD & HD ready TV. So that you can share with your service center & train them the difference about Full HD & HD ready.

Most of the HDTVs today are able to support 720i/720p/1080i/1080p signals. So the single most important spec that we should be looking for when choosing a HDTV is the screen resolution (pixel resolution).

For HD Ready HDTVs which have screen resolution less than 1920x1080, they are less than ideal. This is because if you feed a 1080i/1080p signal to a HD Ready HDTV, this HDTV will scale down the signal resolution to fit its smaller screen resolution. That is to say, you will lose resolution if you use a HD Ready HDTV to display a 1080i/1080p signal.

For Full HD HDTVs, they have screen resolution of 1920x1080, thus, when a 1080i or 1080p signal is feed to it, it is able to display the picture in its full glory at 1920x1080 with no resolution loss.

So it is not difficult to conclude that if money is not a problem, always go for Full HD 1080p HDTVs with 1920x1080 resolution instead of HD Ready 720p HDTVs which has lesser resolution
And that’s why I bought AKAI FULL HD LED TV.

In simple words, HD Ready will not try to relay HD picture until reception is not proper and Full HD will try and relay HD pics as per quality of HD. And resolution of Full HD is automatically set.

So Please don’t underestimate my knowledge & capability.
