Dear Sir,
I did buy the holiday pack online from funcityholidays.in ( Rs 9999 debited from my SBI acc---CCA12KMEY935IGE2376585 to INB Avenues India Pvt. Ltd) on 23rd NOV 2012 and mentioned in narration to send me mini laptop as promised. Cust care told me that my form is rejected as nothing is to be mentioned in narration. He asked me to fill the form again and transfer Rs 9999 again.I did it (CCA12KMEZ194IGE2379692-INB Avenues India Pvt. Ltd). He promised me to refund my Rs 9999 for cancelled order within 1/2 an hour. It didn't happen.They also sent a mail saying one order will be cancelled and money will be refunded soon.
They promised to give refund in 15 days . Today even after 30 days, I have not got the refund.On my enq today--Mr Agnihotri was telling to wait for 10 more days as they have already forwarded the request. He even went to the extent of saying that they are unable to refund as my payment of Rs 9999 is held up in payment gateway---A lie. He even suggested me to sell one pack to any of my friend and he will do the booking even though payment is held in gateway. When I told him that hotels in list deny having any tie ups, he said--"U will be given hotel bookings in ur name and U should not bother how it is done."
Today I rang cust care of India avenue pvt ltd and Mr Ashok told me that both transactions were successful on the same day.
I asked Timesdeals to intervene as it is a reputed holiday deal merchant(TOI group)--also it features packages from funcityholidays in their deals and that was the point which made me think this co could be relied upon. Princi madam on humanitarian ground contacted funciy holidays and she was assured for refund in 15 days. It didn't happen. Now they just don't talk to her on this matter--and she told me her inability to intervene and to take steps myself.
Sir, Pl help me to get my refund of Rs 9999. .They have done this to many. And modus operandi is same. No of complaints are found in google against this co . I dont know what will happen when I will book any hotel with them.I sent few mails to hotels mentioned in their resort list and all managers refused to have any kind of tie up with this co. I dont know how they promise 2 delux rooms for 4 days with all meals in luxury hotels!!!! Sir, They are doing unfair trade practice by offering free gifts and thus attracting customers and almost forcing them for double payment and then not refunding the money. This is happening all over India. Pl take this matter seriously and urgently before co just disappears. It will save lots of consumers from being cheated. I req U to book package on ur behalf and see how U are being cheated.I do have faith in ur transparency, devotion and sincerity. I hope u will not disappoint me.
Pl do the needful urgently.
