Complaint Details
Dear Sir,
My goods were shipped from hyderabad on 04-May-2014 for mohali and in the process my LCD TV was lost which was insured and declared for value of RS 30000/-(Rupees Thirty thousand only) in GC# CYBD 001041
1. On 04-May-2014 goods were picked from my house by agarwal packers under supervision of Mr. Zaheer (Supervisor) and they had left my premises by 01:00 PM on 04-May-2014.
2. On 05-May-2014 around 10:00 AM, I received call from Mr. Zaheer that the LCD TV was missing and then he came to my premises to search for that but couldn't find it, I also logged formal complaint with my security team (which has already been forwarded to Mr. Sanjay DasariSanjay.Dasari@agarwalpackers.Com +919390821276).
3. On 10th May I called Mr. Sunil Jain(9396482751) to check where my luggage has reached and I was shocked to hear that it was still lying in hyderabad and figured out that it was not shipped because LCD TV was missing, I requested to ship the remaining luggage so it can reach in time and lost LCD TV can be sorted out later. I was also in touch with Mr. Dharamvir(Traffic incharge from agarwal 9393369210).
4. Mr. Sunil Jain asked my why I didn't informed him on 05-May that LCD TV was missing and I responded that your supervisor knows this so I thought you must be already aware.

On 17-May , I received my shipment in Mohali and LCD TV was missing so I asked how will I get claim for LCD TV, I was advised by Mr. Ishwar Agarwal (Chandigarh -Agarwal estates officer 9356005753) that you give in writing that you have received consignment except for LCD TV so that they can initiate the claim process and I gave that.
5. When I checked with Mr. Sunil Jain again I was informed that the case has been forwarded to Mr. Sanjay Dasari and he is looking into it, when I spoke to Mr. Sanjay he said he will file an FIR with local police and will wait for their findings and then get back to me.
6. After repeated follow ups Mr. Sanjay Dasari made a comment that he did a mistake of delivering my remaining(except LCD TV) goods and he should not have done that and it came to me as a shock and then Mr. Dharam vir said that you are from well to do family and we will recover some money from the agarwal workers who came to my place in hyderabad for loading and I should also forgo some money.
7. I then realized Agarwal packers is not serious about my claim and decided to file a case in consumer court and then I was advised by Mr. Ishwar Agarwal to talk to Mr. chandrabhusan (9312124321)once. I spoke to Mr. Chandrabhushan on 20-May and he connected to Mr. Dhirendra(9555282841) from Agarwal packers claims department and I am writing up this email as he has asked to send this mail.
8. Mr. Dhirendra can you please confirm me by what date I will get the claim amount credited to my Bank Account?.
Couple of questions for Agarwal packers:
1. Why did it take full 24 hrs for Agarwal packers to realize that LCD TV was missing.
2. When supervisor was aware on 05-May-2014 why he didn't not informed internally to other officials in Agarwal packers on 05-May-2014.
3. Why my shipment was held until 10-May-2014 (because Agarwal packers officials were aware that LCD TV was missing then why Mr. Sunil Jain is saying he was not aware of this unitl 10-May ).
4. LCD TV is reported by missing by supervisor Mr. Zaheer on 05-May and it was informed to Mr. Sunil Jain(hyderabad) and Mr. Dharamvir on 10-May, 2014 by me also then what has Agarwal done to process my claim and how long it will take for Agarwal to pay my claim it has already been 16 days now.
