I recently bought new Airtel DTH subscription (customer id: 3011853791) by making the payment online. The site advertises that the installation will be carrried out free of cost. I also checked this at the customer care and was told that it would be free of cost. Now, the technicians who came from Airtel's franchisee are asking me to pay for the installation as it requires some mount to be setup at window. I complained to the Airtel customer care and checked for the same and was told that no charge needs to be paid even if it's a window installation. Later, they came back saying that it'd need to be paid. I'm totally at loss to understand why all of a sudden Airtel customer care are chagning thier stand. I have already made the payment and no installation has been done yet.
