Complaint Details
I booked airline tickets for an amount of Rs. 90,920 through spicejet website (Online trasaction)on 14th May 2014. The transaction was successful and spicejet sent a confirmation email on 14th May. Around 21st I checked my status and found my flight status and found to my utter surprise that my tickets are cancelled on account of failed transaction. I approached Canara bank and after almost (10 days) was able to get document showing that the transaction was successful and was provided with details of processed payment to spicejet. I complained to spicejet through email and phone with all required documentation. Every time I call spicejet the representative states that it will be resolved ASAP but so far there is no active response from them. I am calling everyday and the response is -by the end of the day it will be resolved, which never happened.
Damage occured:
-Pain of taking working hours time to go around to find where the problem lies
-Loss of monetary interest on the money that is with spicejet, for the service not provided
-Keeping the customer in dark on the transaction
-Repeated phone calls costing time and money
-Stress overload
