I completed my graduation in 2012 with b.tech(cse). the it market was down and there was no openings in kolkata. some of my friends went to moniba for DBA course(which cost 80,000 perperson) and MCAPL assured them that they will provide them job after completion of the course. I was interested because i was eager to get a job. so me with some of my friends went to MCAPL. they said that DBA dosenot have that much demand now days. do a course on IBM-MAINFRAME and we will provide you job mostprobably in ibm itself or some other mnc. it was a 41,000 course and duration was 3 months minimum. after 1 and 1/2 moths they said that your course is complete. give the exam and collect certificates. we asked that why so hurry? they replied we have some recruitment. complete your course before the company comes. it was September of 2012. we completed our course and collected certificates. after that they said there is puja in October so company will come at November. after november they said you may have forgotten all the things so come and revise it again. we took the class for 1 or 2 weeks but after that we could understand that they are not going to conduct any kind of recruitment. from last december we are constantly saying them to do something. they are not even talking to us. even they have transferred the mam who said that they will provide job. now when we are saying that mam told us that you will arrange for some company recruitment they are saying the mam is not with us any more. so we are not answrable for what she said. its very frustrating. me with my 6 frinds did the course. we spend (41,000 * 7)=2,87,000 for the MAINFRAME training. now they gave us training on some preliminary things and not taking to us.

can we get our money back somehow? because with that 41,000 i can go to bangalore or chennai to find a job. and its very irritating that i have gave my money to some kind of fraud placement company. please help me. i have shown my certificate to many hr persons. they said the certificate has no value for freshers. no one from moniba is taking to us. they even dont call me and whenever i call them they say i am busy now. i will let you know when i am free and can talk to you people. i really want my money back. so can any one help me on this? what i should do now?
