Complaint Details
I am one of the few Tata Safari Storm owners and completely disgruntled with the performance of this vehicle . It has started troubling me just few days after delivery. Initial problems were 1. Broken handle of left front door 2. Engine alert was appearing on DIS 3. Speedometer / RPM meter were behaving erratically 4. Hand break was not working 5. Some noise were also coming from different body parts.

I got this vehicle serviced ( 1st service ) and pacified myself with some make shift arrangements done by work shop guys but broken handle problem continued. Subsequently I visited couple of times more to the work shop to get this problem fixed and finally got it fixed , again by some make shift arrangement instead door change as committed by work shop guys.

On 13th January I went to Faizabad , about 100 kilometers from Lucknow and it was a nightmare drive for me traveling in night with my family with following problem in my vehicle 1. Engine alert was again appearing on DIS 2. Speedometer / RPM meter were behaving erratically once again 3. Acceleration was asymmetrical 4. Hand break was not working. I am completely perturbed with the performance of this vehicle .

It hurts to pay 14 Lac and getting this kind of machine. I never wanted to buy Tata product but somehow got lured by advertising. I know I did a mistake.

Pls suggest a way forward as I want to get rid of this “ Cheap “ vehicle. I am writing this mail in disgust as uploaded my complaint on to their portal on 15th January and got future references no 1-17966924031 but yet to hear from their side even after 4 working days .

Is this the TATA philosophy ?
