Complaint Details
I had purchased Aqua Guard RO water purifier system from Eureka forbes in 2009. Their sales effort was quite amazing with the required skill sets displayed to convince the customer, but the after sales support has been pathetic to the core. I have subsequently entered into an AMC with the franchisee Contract receipt no. 45 and Bill no. 20277296 for a period of 2 years from 29-01-2010. I have paid Rs.6520/- for the said period as AMC changes. The cost of the original equipment is Rs.10,000/- only but the AMC works to Rs.3250/- per year when entered on a cumulative basis for 2 years. It is otherwise even more costlier. None of the guys respond to service requests. I have at least experienced it 5 times during the past 1 year. I write this message with a lot of anger and frustration as I am left in the lurch. My latest service request for AMC service complaint number 0061147786 has been unattended for the past 6 days. It was filed on 07-Feb-2011 and today is 12-Feb-2011. I am unable to have healthy drinking water which was the only purpose of paying a huge sum to go for this RO system. To add to the sorrow, none of the franchisee guys pick calls when the customer calls them. I have tried calling the service guys 20 times at least (not exaggerated) in the past 1 week. I dont know what to do. Whenever we call the call center, the only message given is that the complaint would be attended to and then nothing happens. there is no one to take these franchisees to task for non performance and I dont think they have any metrics of performance either. I will be happy if I get back the AMC money paid by me with some compensation for the mental agony and physical effort for havivng followed up every now and then. 2 months back when I shfited into a new house, I called these guys for 10 days to shift my system from the old apartment. I need to mention that both apartments are in the same complex though.


Please help resolve this and attend to my request.

The company and franchisee need to be penalised. I am sure there are more persons like me who are left in the lurch.
