I own a standard chartered credit card. I got a flyer from the bank stating a "Mumbai Marathon offer". As per the offer I am entitled to a 10% discount on any purchase above Rs 2000 at SSIPL Nike stores. I made a purchase of the shoe worth Rs 7995 at Nike Store in Inorbit Mall, Vashi (Transaction reference number - 25122602331001294031308). The shop owner refused the discount stating that it will be credited to my credit card as a cashback. I have already received a credit card statement from Standard Chartered but no cash back has been added. I logged in a complaint on the online system of standard chartered, but i have received a standard response saying " the are sorry for the inconvenience" without resolution of my issue. I am asking them to to give me a Rs 799 credit as per the offer communication. The offer terms and conditions and the Credit Card Statement is attached with this complaint.
The company should either not communicate such schemes which are not extended to consumers. All the conditions mentioned in the T&C were met when i was making the purchase.
