Complaint Details
I have purchased Chevrolet Spark Car No. DL3CAE 4963on 31.05.2010 and it is under Free service warranty period. M/S. Chevrolet Sales India had provided me free service coupons. Still, service no. 6 to 9 and Wheel Alignment are pending. The service warranty period of 36 months will be over in the month of May 2013.
To have my 6th free service, I have visited Chevrolet’s authorized service centre M/s. Shiva Motors, Noida on 3-2-2012.
With regret, it is to inform you that Chevrolet’s authorized service centre M/s. Shiva Motors, Noida has refused to perform Free Service NO. 6 stating a reason that “Last Service i.e. service no. 5 was done on 30th December 2012".
Chevrolet’s 6th free service coupon/booklet indicates condition for service as “29000/30000 kms/within 36 months (whichever is earlier)”
Accordingly to it, we are entitled to have free pending services i.e. 6th to 9th including Wheel Alignment and Balancing 1st to 3rd at any time within 36 months or completion of prescribed kilometers whichever is earlier.
The free service period i.e. 36 months will be completed in the month of May 2013. And Chevrolet’s authorized service centre is denying to perform these services indicating above reasons.
This matter was taken up with Service Manager and General Manager, Service Dept. of Shiva Motors, Noida on same day over phone. Though, General Manager was not available in Service Centre. But, we have not received any positive response.
The matter is also taken up with M/s. Chevrolet Sales India Pvt. Ltd. through mail, emails and fax messages at its registered office,Halol & MKT Head Office, Gurgaon. But, they are also silent in this matter and not responding.
The above incident has badly dented my mental condition and it has created mental harassment.
In view of above, you are requested to register my complaint against M/s. Chevrolet Sales India Pvt. Ltd, Gurgaon / Halol and its autho. agent i.e. Shiva Motors, Noida and instruct them to perform all pending services upto the completion of 36 months i.e. May 2013.
I am enclosing herewith all pending coupons for your kindly information. Coupon No. 6 indicates the comments given by M/s. Shiva Motors, Noida for refusal of services.
