Respected Sir,
I Mr. Ashwini Prasad Chowdhry have applied for home loan in December, 2012 in LIC Housing through their executive Mr. Ashok Bhattacharya (Mobile no. 9830648271) with all documents in CR Avenue Office, Kolkata. After falling AGREEMENT FOR SALE whose validity was upto 31.1.2013. they have also charged Rs. 1500/- (cash) for the property valuation and Rs.1124/- as a processing fee by cheque which has been already incash.

On 19th December, 2012 I was informed by him (Mr. Ashok Bhattacharya) that my status in CIBIL list regarding of Citi bank and SBI Credit card is showing "POST WRITTEN-OFF (SETTLED) and also he told me that if my status in the cibil shows settled then there will be no problem in granting the Home Loan. After that within 10 days I managed to solved this problem with the Citibank & SBI Credit Card official including the support of RBI and status is which was "post written off settled" was removed from CIBIL, and mail all the required document to Mr. Bhattacharya and LIC mail id (ashoklic_2007@yahoo.co.in, lichflkolao@vsnl.net).

Then he called me and said that I need not have to worry as there is no problem and my loan will get sanction very quickly.

Later on in end of 1st eek of January, 2013 he said that my loan has been approved by area manager. Again he said that my loan will get sanction, I did not have to worry at all. But, as per the human anxiety I used to called him every day and on every called he used to assure me that my loan will get sanction and everything will over by this month and I should not keep him calling and disturb him. This went on uptill 28.1.2013. again I called him and asked him and also reminded that my agreement is going end on 31.1.2013. to which he said that still 3 days is left I should not worry.

Now I am in a dangerous status and I thought something is wrong, this man is fooling me but still I waited and then at the end on 29.1.2013 he informed me that my file is still in process there maybe a delay. I was out of my mind after hearing this. I don't know what to do. After that whenever I used to call him he never received my call and on the other hand the seller is demanding the rest of the money to which I assured him by asking him more time verbally. After that I kept on calling Mr. Bhattacharya. But he did not received my call and after a long gap and no wayout left, I mailed lic officials dated 30.1.2013, 31.1.2013, 1.2.2013, and 4 mails on 4.2.2013 (mails enclosed) to asking my status of my home loan to which on 5.2.2013 I got a reply from area manager Mr. Biswajit Das, Area manager, Kolkata-south, that my loan got rejected due to status showing settled in cibil.

I was shocked to see this. I was assured by the lic executive that settled is not an issue.

Now, my query is when the status showing settled with outstanding nil, can stop the LICHFL from granting the loan. Because as a general interpretation it means that there is no issue left and no dues are left so how can a LICHFL can not grant loan on this reason.

If this would have the reason then why they did not informed me in the month of December. And why did they informed me after the expiry of Agreement for sale.

Now I am in a very bad position infront of seller. As he has granted me few time as a grace period if I failed to give him rest of the amount. I have to pay Rs. 50,000 as a penalty.

Now I am in a very falls position because of the casual behavior of LIC Housing. My complain to you is to solved my problem by granting me the compensation from LIC or make my loan get sanctioned. Because this can not be a issue of rejecting a loan,I request you to solve my problem, because I am in a great mental tension as lic housing is a harassing me since the month of December.
