HI Team,
I had placed on order on the website myflowertree.com on the 13th of Feb'13 for a flower + gift delivery to Navi Mumbai on the 14th of Feb'13. The order was placed online & the payment was made through net banking, HDFC Bank on the 13th of Feb'13.
The order no. was MFT100676.
All day on the 14th we kept waiting & the order was not delivered. I kept calling the service provider & they did not answer the phone. The mobile phone was switched off & the landline went unanswered. The ' track your order' status online showed in progress. The same was the case on the 15th & 16th afternoon. On 15th evening the order tracking status was updated to 'delivered'. When I checked with the recipient, the order hadn't been delivered yet. When I tried to reach the mft customer service no's they were still not taking any calls.
On the 15th night I found a representative - Sravanan online & asked him to check the order status & get back to me. The representative took my contact details- name, phone no. & email id & said would check & get back to me.
After getting no calls from them, I tried to again contact them on 16th evening which is when one of the representative answered the phone. When I checked for the delivery status they confirmed that the delivery had been made. When I insisted the representative said that they would check & get back & if the order wasn't delivered they would deliver it on the 17th.
I told them very clearly that I did not want the order delivered now as it had lost its significance & I would want the money to be refunded, the phone got disconnected. This was 5:30 in the evening.
I called them again at 6 pm & spoke to another representative- Aryan. He again told me that the order had been delivered. When I insisted he confessed that the order was not delivered & by default in the system it was updated as delivered. I got very upset & asked for the money to refunded. He said that the money cannot be refunded & asked me to drop an email at support@myflowertree.com.
I have dropped an email to them however, I haven't heard back yet. I would like the money to be refunded along with the compensation. The company needs to pay for all the embarrassment & harassment caused due to this delay. All I wanted was to make someone feel special & trusted that the company would do that. All they did was not answer the call & not deliver the order. Now they also refuse to refund the money.
