Ref- (1) Flight Number Ek 503 – Emirates Airline, Departure Time 19.05pm from Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Date – 03rd February 2013
(2)Seat No- 18 K (economy Class), Ticket No- ETKT 176 2625588070 from Mumbai to Saint Petersburg (Russia) via Dubai ( connecting flight).
Sir/Madam,
I hereby draw your immediate attention for the high handedness attitude & taking undue advantage of my travelling anxiety by collecting excess amount from me.
I hereby requested you to kindly register my complaint for unauthorized charges levied against allowed hand baggage weighting 10 kg in guise of excess luggage by counter staff executives under duty manager Miss Reema between 4:45pm to 6pm(16:45pm– 18:00 pm) on Sunday, 3rd day of February 2013. I Have been pressurized to pay more charges of Rs 13650/-( Rupees Thirteen Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Only) extracting more amount than scheduled which should be refunded to me with immediate effect.
It is to be noted that my check in luggage weight appeared 31kg which should not have been clubbed with my hand baggage of approximately 10 kg which is free and not chargeable in any other airlines. Thus I was made to pay total charges for 41 kg including Hand Baggage of 10 kg. I am shocked by this practice of Emirates Airline staff in Mumbai and I protest for the same. In the circumstances I once again demand of aforesaid excess money and full compensation of the damages.
Please do the needful at the earliest possible moment to avoid unnecessary dispute and litigation.
