I have purchased a EM35R (MF) Battery
(2A2W9*****9L1) from your authorized dealer in Dombivli on 17-May-9**9 with two years warranty . To my surprise, my vehicle didn't started in the crowded market on 07-June-14 which is in good mechanical and operating
condition (Maruti ZEN old); somehow I manage to get it started by pushing it with the help of people around. I have immediately noticed that the battery
is drained out and I contacted the dealer (Sahara Automobiles) on 09-June-14 and they confirm that the battery is a problem in getting the vehicle started as its completely drained out and so on. I am shocked to hear this as this is only 24 Months and few days old battery which is no more in running condition. With the best t rack record of the manufacturer, I know that the battery is not manufactured for a warranty period of 2 years only..
I have submitted the battery to dealer on 11-Jun-14 and I got a call from dealer on 16-Jun-14 that Exide have returned the battery with claim rejected. Upon contacting their Service Engineer (Mahesh Parab) he started teaching me many things which were irreverent to this subject matter. An e-mail to Area Service Manager (Mhatre) also went unanswered.
Exide is manufacturing faulty products which can be usable for a period of 2 years and they are looting people like anything.
Moreover the dealers service battery made me to take help from local residents at rainy night as it was also faulty.
