Hello,
Our Builder is not willing to give us our VAT amount back even though we have taken in ready construction in Nov 2007.
He is coming up with excuse that some people from our society are not willing to pay VAT. They had to pay on their behalf to government.

Once they pay them he will return our VAT money. Our VAT amount is in the form of a triparty FD between bank,me and the builder. The Builder does not want to break the FD. It is earning me 8% intrest, whereas i am paying home loan at the rate of 14%.

Pls help me where Can I raise a concern against the builder i media or consumer court..etc
