Complaint Details
i placed an order for an electrolux microwave oven on the website www.tradus.com,and made debit card payment for the same on 2nd of march 2013, when contacting the seller regarding the dispatch of the goods , i was wrongly informed that it was already been dispatched . then on contactig tradus customer services i was told it would be sent only by 8th of march, then i was told that the shipment has been made on 7th march and i was given an invalid tracking number to have me waiting further finally tradus cancelled the order stating the oven was lost in transit which was not been dispatched in the first place. the same evening i recieved a call from the seller stating the shipment was stopped by electroux company and he offered an inferior product for the same price which he claimed to have features it never had for which i declined. then i was told that refund will be made as soon as payment gateway is open. They informed me that the refund has been made, which i doubt because of the unprofessional experience from the website. the refund was claimed to be made on 13-03-2013. but i have not received the refund as yet. Going by the word of successful refund of tradus i ordered another microwave oven from flipkart on cash on delivery but i dont have the money to pay them as i have not received the refund. i had to bear default from my bank for insufficient balance when i tried to withdraw money to pay for the other oven from the ATM. moreover i have to stand embarrassed in-front of the courier delivery guy for having him to bear his losses. please take serious actions against these frauds and avoid the misery to the common consumer . i have attached a copy regarding the communication between the seller, company and myself. thanking you for the help.
