Complaint Details
When I bought the net connect+ it was promised that they will provide a speed of 3.1 mbps,, but that never happened I was managing with a speed of around 150 to 200 kbps. Now, since last three months i am getting very poor speed of around 20 to 50 kbps, as a result I could not use the internet for last three months. I have tried all the levels of customer support offered by r com from basic customer care to their president service but all of them have one thing in common, that they close all my complaint every 7-8 days without even resolving the same. I request you to kindly intervene and help me in getting the resolution of my problem. In this regard, I am enclosing the series of mail that got exchanged between them and me for your reference and needful. _________________________

Hi,

I am suffering with issue of poor speed on my netconnect+ since last 2 months, I have talked to customer care representative several time for resolving the issue but it seems that they are sitting there to close the complaint I'd without even resolving the same.

Since customer care was not able to resolve the issue despite continuous follow up from my side and they was arbitrarily closing my complaint id, I have decided to approach rcom appellate authority, but they have also taken the same path and closed my existing complaint Id without resolving it and given me another complaint I'd.

Just want to understand what's the point in closing the existing complaint arbitrarily if that is not resolved?

Till now my experience is pathetic with reliance.
All my complaint Id is mentioned below for your ready reference.

3) 196407553
4) 197331728

In this regard, I need your kind intervention in resolving the issue asap.

And also can you give me any logical justification as to why my existing service request I'd(mentioned above) is arbitrarily closed and a new one bearing no. 197331728 is generated.

As you may be aware from my trailing mail that I have done all the troubleshooting steps as and when asked by your representative.

I just want to understand what your ASC will do if there is problem with the your network speed in a particular area?

I have tested this device in some other location and there I didn't face any problem.

My understanding of the situation is that there is something wrong with the network speed specially in my area.

First of all, thanks for your prompt reply. I would like to bring some facts to your notice that after my official complaint, I did receive call from your technical team for resolving the issue, but all those effort could not resolve my problem of poor speed after which the representative of your technical team told me that since my problem of poor speed could not be fixed, my issue is being escalated to network team for their needful in this regard.. After which I called up at your customer care no. several times for getting the status of my complaint, but did not receive any satisfactory response after which I have initiated an email on 22nd Dec 2012.

As required by you, I have followed all the steps mentioned by you but this is also not resolving my issue of poor speed.

As per service Request ID 194124704 and communication had with you with technical team on December 19, 2012; the issue has been resolved.

However if you are getting still the same issue we request you to change the network setting and perform the activities mentioned in the attachment provided.

Steps for network settings:
1. Open the dialer
2. Click on settings
3. Click on Network (3 Network modes will be displayed)
4. Broadband +/ High speed 1x/ Hybrid
5. Click on the Netconnect+ mode or Hybrid (when connection is uses in roaming) and click on apply
We also request you to please enter the correct Reliance Netconnect+ number as username and password without prefixing 0 and copy paste.

If your issue is still not resolved, then uninstall and reinstall the Reliance Netconnect+ software then restart the system and try connecting.
