Complaint Details
I purchased furniture worth Rs. 60910 from Housefull International Ltd. (HDC number 10092013100)on January 13th 2013. Since the company's terms and conditions specified that delivery would be effected only on full payment for the goods, I had paid the complete amount by credit card on January 13th 2013 in good faith. Some of the furniture (including Sofa and book shelf) was delivered and was not installed upon delivery. Importantly the goods were damaged. A complaint for the damaged goods was registered with the customer care division on 5th Feb 2013, however no conclusive action has been taken till date. On Feb 16th 2013 this issue was again reiterated to Customer Care Division at Housefull International Ltd. On Feb 18th 2013, Ms. Mohini Naik from Customer Care acknowledged the complaint registration and assured that the matter would be resolved, but this didn’t happen. In the meanwhile the rest of the furniture (including wardrobe) was delivered but this too arrived in a damaged state. Again on Feb 25th 2013 I wrote to Ms. Mohini Naik indicating the very poor quality of service. On Feb 26th 2013 Ms. Mohini Naik responded back stating that required parts have been ordered an on or before 8th March 2013 my complaint would be resolved. As on date there is absolutely no action from the furniture store. There is no response to phone calls, the people whom I manage to get hold of are either incompetent to address the issue or are very unprofessional and rude. There are no response to emails.
