Hi,

This is sangeetha. I surrendered my both connections by last year itself and paid full bill payment that time itself. Many times i called customer care for termination and waiver. They took request for both. Then for waiver they asked me to be in touch with west mambalam reliance branch. So i was in touch with nethra first and then with saranya and currently i am in touch with a executive named Anita of west mambalam r-com branch, she told me that she will take waiver full and the request for that has been attached above.

When i asked for the settlement letter the branch person said that the bill itself serves as an acknowledgement for the settlement as it is shown amount outstanding to be Rs.0. I paid the full bill and also the money for the waiting period before for termination by last year. For may month i got just a bill for about 90-95 rs which in turn i paid and cleared the due. Again from June i started getting bill for small amounts. I called customer care and they told me that only the west mambalam r-com branch people activated the connection again. I was in touch with customer care and west mambalam branch. So i called west mambalam r-com branch last year itself and was in touch with 2 executive before who told that they will terminate my connections and do a full waiver as i already surrendered the connection and i am not using it neither i requested to activate it. One executive named saranya even mailed to the reliance head office regarding the same for which i have attached a file along with this mail as a proof.


I am calling the west mambalam branch from last year but till now my issue is not resolved. At last my connection got terminated but the outstanding amount is still not waivered. The current executive named Anita from that same branch is not even responding properly. Though i have sent mail and repeatedly calling, she is not even picking up my call and in case picking up she is promising for a call back after which she is not calling back which i faced today.


I have done my duty from my part by paying the requested amount and clearing the bill and giving written letter for termination. If the web world is unwanted doing reactivation then for what i need to pay bill for it. If required check the usage of my connection as after giving written letter last year by April 2012 i am not using the connection itself.


Though i cleared my bill by April still i got bill 3 months later for which 1 or 2 times i even paid the bill as the we world executive told that that would be the last bill and the mistake will not happen again. But again and again i am getting this issue which is giving me mental harassment. Till date i am calling the west mambalam reliance web world but they are not giving proper response, neither call back, sometime not picking up my number itself. The current executive Anita also asked me to call the previous executive saranya who is not in employment with them currently. Is this a way to speak to a customer? For what i need to call a person who left the job or not working in that branch currently to deal with my issue and more over i don't have their personal numbers.

Till now west mambalam branch telling me that my connection is terminated by one person from Nungambakkam branch named ramesh called me today morning 23/03/13 informed me that my connection is still not terminated. I dint know which is true and which is false. But reliance is cheating me. I am getting different different answers from customer care, west mambalam branch and nungambakkam branch though the connection was from reliance. I will not pay any bill as after 01 April 2012 i am not using it and gave proper written letter on 04/04/2012 for the termination for which i have attached the tracker as a proof. You people are torturing me and i feel mentally exhausted.

Kindly do the waiver and mail me the settlement letter.

For the remaining amount the customer care people said that only west mambalam branch should do from their end. For this purpose saranya sent the mail to the concerned team for termination and full waiver of amount. Still now the issue is not resolved as 4 days before one executive from the reliance called me and told that their is some outstanding amount. As saranya told me that the issue is resolved i thought the connection is terminated and waiver is also fully done as till the period i used and i fully paid the bill and gave proper disconnection/termination letter to your branch. Kindly resolve the issue and mail me my settlement letter.


Currently i am not in Chennai so for anything contact me in my mobile/mail.

I am mentally tired and feel tortured by keep on calling for something which i am not responsible. If this continues i have to raise a complaint to the consumer court and will publish my experience with reliance in consumer forum on Internet.

This is the second time i am mailing you in this month itself till now i didn't get any reply not even one one single mail from your end. This is the quality of reliance.

My March month 2012 bill was nearing 1600-1700 Rs for which i have paid Rs. 2800 - Rs.2850 (not sure about the amount) by April 2012 including my outstanding bill. The bill i got showed Rs.0. Then by may i got a bill again stating that i need to pay Rs. 92 which the customer care people told that that is a adjustment amount pending. For which i have paid Rs. 95. But again by June I got a bill for Rs. 210, again by July 2012 i got bill for Rs. 53 but aging by august 2012 i got a bill for Rs.525 and the bill showed as if my connection is active. My question is that if my connection didn't get terminated by April 2012 then how by may 2012, June 2012, July 2012 i got bill just for Rs. 92, Rs. 210 and Rs. 53 where the amount should have been more than that. Again by august 2012 why my connection got activated when i am not using it? If it got terminated then why you are still torturing me. More over by august 2012 again through customer care after long fight i got ref numbers for my termination and waiver if both would have happened properly why till date they are claiming that my amount is pending?

Still now west mambalam brach telling that my connections are terminated but executive from head office claims that it is still active and asking me to pay bill for Rs. 599.22/-. Then what happened to my termination request letter given by april 2012? what happened to the reference number given by the customer care people by august 2012 for again terminating and waiver? what happened to the september monthn tracker requeting for the termination and waiver sent by the west mambalam branch to the head office? Is reliance making fool of me? I feel mentally tortured and my peace of life has gone. Please help.
