Good day

We have communicated with helpline the following -

1. Re bad installation, with narrative and photographs. On inquiring was informed that same is done at all locations, including working at 7th / 8th floor window ledges without safety belts, bad electrical splices, brackets without prescribed anchor bolts and even those, not fastened properly. Brackets sold at inflated prices with no MRP markings. No clamps for the outdoor pipes, no vinyl covering over the outdoor pipes (only cable ties are used).

Re above, installer agreed to rectify arriving March 23, 10 a.m. We await their arrival.

2. One of four units, a 1.5T Inverter (top of line product) was making an unnatural sound seemingly from the outdoor unit. Several calls and several days later was visited by tech engineer who reported that the fan had to be replaced. Still days later, upon my calling, was informed that a replacement fan was ordered from Delhi as no stock available in Mumbai. With arrival on Wed. March 20th, 2013. I called the Mumbai Office Friday March 22. The officer told me that he would call back with repair program. No call till date.

Any repair of the outdoor unit will be considered a refurbished unit and not a new unit, violating my rights, especially as the repair will be done on site and not in a workshop with testing facilities.

I tried to call the prescribed help line number given to me by Mr. Ravi Verma but the person at that number refused to pick up or deliberately put me on hold for extended periods of time or disconnected the line.

Even though I informed Mr. Verma and the Mumbai office head, that the noise from the unit was increasing, both persons advised me to continue using the unit.

The noise is causing a disturbance to the neighbours and ourselves affecting our sleep.

We are not satisfied with the after-sales service provided by Panasonic India.
