Complaint Details
I stayed in this Visa Guest house for 2 days. It is located at 9834-35, Sadar Thana Road, Pahar Ganj, New Delhi. Their room lock has a problem. I went outside and when I returned to the room the lock didn't open. It was night 8:30 PM, I told them to call a technician quickly, but they tried for 2 hours but the lock didn’t open. I waited outside, finally they gave me other room, but all my belongings are in that room. They told me that they will be calling a technician and he will open it before 9 AM. I reminded them early morning at 8 AM, but the technician came at 11, he was unable to open the door, finally they broke it at 12 noon. I collected my luggage and left the room immediately. But they told me to pay the lock charges 2,000 rupees and some extra charges (like room service, taxes and luxury etc). I argued with them and said problem is with your lock, if you want me to pay, call the police and they will decide. Finally I didn't pay lock charges but paid some extra charges about 1500. I waited outside for more than 6 hours and I was terribly disappointed. They never cared my words, complete irresponsible and money-minded persons.
