I had requested to disconnect my mobile no 9619242285 in Nov2012 and made payment for the bill generated for the OCT/NOV month usage. I received an email to make payment for the December Month before the number is deactivated but I was charged rent for the entire month whereas as per their rule and promise the charges would be on prorata basis. I received call from executive where I told them i will make the final settlement when the exact amount is calculated and mailed to me. I never received any email from Vodafone and then I got a letter from their lawyer Mr Harish Gore who never looked into the matter clearly and said that if I donot pay I will be taken to the court. The letter said I should make the payment in mumbai but I am not in Mumbai for few months which I had told the vodafone team earlier. So I tried reaching the executive whose contact was mentioned in the letter but even he didnt call me back so i made the payment of the amount due online. But today i spoke to him and even he agreed that the charges should be on prorata basis and they will revert the amount. I have even written an email to the lawyer about the inconvenience i have faced where I have wasted my time, energy and money to understand and follow the vodafone process to be a loyal customer but i return I have received letter where I made to fell like I am a fraud. I have been using vodafone for the last 10 years now but In last 3 months I had lot of inconvenience especially when my 1 year old son was hospitalized and I had already raised an issue with the CFBP COMPLAINT NO: 0003175/2013. So if time and again I will have to go through this humiliation from the company and people working with Vodafone India, I wish to discontinue with other numbers from vodafone and I want a third party ie CFBP to be a witness of the final settlement and the inconvenience I have been facing from the people and process at Vodafone. I donot wish to bear any further loss of my respect, my time, money and energy for a heartless service from Vodafone which I can use it for myself my son, my family and others.Its not a matter about money its about my respect in community i live and the productive time I give to son and other people in life which is been questioned. I have attached the bill for three months with my complaint. I apologize if I am wrong here because i made mistake but a repeated mistake what Vodafone has made is a habit
