My Credit Card number is 4629866902765004. I had tried booking Air Tickets from IRCTC however the transaction failed but the amount was deducted Via Transaction ID 74678723091071911008914. I have got the refund from IRCTC minus Rs 272.39 Via Transaction ID 74678723091071916650876. I queried them and they said it was deducted by the Bank. I called up Icici Bank customer support and they said this is service tax. I fail to understand how can a Bank charge service tax for not providing any service?
