Complaint Details
I have an Airtel prepaid mobile with number 9902462928. I recharged with Rs.749 for activating 4GB 3G data pack valid for 30 days on 09-Apr2013 at 9.15PM from Airtel website. Recharge was successful and it is showing 4GB data balance when I check by dialing *123*11#. As per the pack, speed should be upto 7.2mbps. But I’m getting only 40-60kbps (6 to 7 KB/Sec)speed since the activation of this data pack.
I raised a complaint on Airtel website and the complaint number is PR041000008. When I called customer care, they never respond correctly and also they disconnect and block my calls without permission. My issue was not fixed and I contacted customer support more than 6 times through emails to fix this issue. I responded to all their communications with all the enquired details through emails. I have been using Airtel 3G for more than one year from the same location with the same device. We tried with another Airtel SIM card from the same location (same devices and same settings) and that was working fine. So this is an issue with my number. Because of this pathetic speed I couldn’t start using this pack even the half of validity is over. As I need to use internet, I bought an alternate TATA DOCOMO data connection for using internet for the time being. I contacted Airtel customer care for a refund and they didn’t refund. Airtel should either provide the service as offered or refund the amount. But they are not doing anything. Please help me.
