This is the most disappointing airline that any one will choose to travel.
I had paid for a ticket with ticket number DQ8MCP-1 for Indigo flight 6E-248 from Mumbai to Hyderabad scheduled on 28 April 2013 9:20 AM
I had reached domestic airport at 8:00 and reported for a boarding pass at 8:35. The counter was running into some problems so the authorities requested me to shift to another line
I waited for about 10 mins after which I was asked to go to counter number 27 to meet some lady by the name Rochelle who informed me that the flight was full and there was no seat available.
She also said that my flight was called for, surprisingly there was no announcement made
I was asked to wait for another 30 mins where I was promised that alternative travel arrangement will be made for me
I was shocked when I was asked to pay 4300 Rs for the flight reschedule.
There is no point in travelling on this airline as it is not a low cost carrier but dupes passengers by refusing them to board and making thrice the money on a seat.
There is no point booking in advance as there your seat can be given to anyone. There is no announcement faciltity and moreover the ground staff are illiterate as they are not aware how to take a complaint
This is the most depressing for any airline traveler and will never ever travel by Indigo and hope the airline closes down as they are incompetently staffed
