I'm pranav harihar sharma, a media professional from gurgaon. I was holding a tata photon number-9266939986, which is now disconnected on my request.
This is the reason why i requested for the disconnection-
1.on jan 12 2013 i requested at tata photon customer care to activate a particular ( ARP 3 GB unlimited@7650) on my number. (Request no: 344280487)
It was told to me that the request will be resolved before jan. 14 2013.
2. on jan 13 2013 at 5:30 pm i got a mail confirming that the requested plan is activated.
3.when i checked my account online on jan. 14 2013 i found that the wrong plan is been activated on my number. Rather than an unlimited plan a limited plan was activated.
4. i immediately called customer care and registered a complaint. ( complaint number: 344462095). It was told to me that a resolution will be done latest by jan. 15 2013.
5. On jan 15 2013 at 8:07 pm i got a mail from tata photon citing that 'we are unable to process the request, but it will be resolved soon'. no time line given for resolution.
6. Apart from it my tata photon was barred on jan 13 2013 ( as the billing cycle starts from 13 every month and because of the customer care goof up of activation of wrong plan no bill was generated. so i was punished for tata photons fault.
7. on jan 16 at 6:23 pm i got an sms from tata photon mentioning that i've crossed the usage limit and need to pay Rs. 8596 immediately for uninterrupted services. ( at this point of time my services were already barred and the amount which i m told to pay was for the wrong plan activation)
8. on jan 17 2013 ( late by 4 days) i was send a bill ( of Rs. 8596) too.
9. on jan 16 2013 i got another sms from tata photon that my complaint number: 344462095 exceeded the closure timelines and will be resolved shortly. ( this is when the bill was already generated, my services are barred and im told to pay for the plan which i never requested.
10.Frustrated by these events and as iwasnt been able to access the internet from jan. 13 2013 to jan 18 2013 i suffered some Rs. 2 lakhs loss. because of all these i requested for a disconnection.
11. on jan 18 2013 i requested for a disconnection. request number: 345000677
12. on jan 25 2013 i received an sms tht at my jan. 2013 bill is delivered to my address. This is when i wasnt able to acess any internet in jan. and also raised a disconnection request.
13. on feb 1 2013 i got a mail and an sms citing that my jan bill for Rs. 8596 is overdue and need to be paid immediately.
14. on feb 3 2013 i got an sms and a mail that my disconnection request number: 345000677 is resolved. That means the CONNECTION IS NOW DISCONNECTED.
15.Soon after it i started getting calls for different tata photon customer care executives asking me to pay the bill of Rs. 8596. Now its just insane!! im asked to pay and ADVANCED RENTAL PLAN AMOUNT OF RS 8596 FOR THE YEAR 2013-14, WHEREAS MY CONNECTION IS ALREADY DISCONTINUED.
But still i tried explaining this to the customer care executives without losing my patience. But i keep getting calls for payment.
16. Now on feb 16 2013 i was SHOCKED!!. A new bill was generated for the month of feb. 2013 amounting to Rs. 17,192. This is immediately followed by a customer care executive to pay that RIDICULOUS AMOUNT.
Till date i keep getting calls to pay the amount and the callers are not ready to listen anything. No senior guy has called me yet.
