I had taken a personal loan in Icici bank, berhampur, Orissa branch in 2005 for Rs. 50,000 and repaid 6 emi's without any bouncing. When I was about to leave professionally to Bhubaneswar, I called up the bank to settle the amount and close the loan as I will no longer be there in berhampur. A person representing Icici bank, Mr. Saroj met me and collected a sum of Rs. 38,000 odd and given me the letter NOC. I have kept it safely for couple of years and after that in relocation to Hyderabad I misplaced it. Suddenly last week a person named Karan called me up and said that there is a due of 1,26,000 rupees on the personal loan. I said let me look into it and if I have to pay I will certainly pay it but will not be in a position to pay in one go. After that I was busy with meetings and had to travel out of Hyderabad for couple of days. Then he calls up my office as I was not reachable and misbehaves with the sales coordinator and other colleagues. Later he misbehaved with me as we'll speaking all filthy language. Then I said, please send a legal notice to as he was threatening to do. Then he handed over the phone to his boss Mr. Neeraj Saxena. He spoke to me politely and agreed for a settlement in 3 emi's. All of a sudden today I find that my account is showing negative balance of 1,26,000 odd. When contacted customer care they it is marked lien and I can't use my account. Adding to my problems my salary got credited today and that also has been deducted leaving me and my family on the road for the rest of the month.

Please suggest what to do.
