Complaint Details
I had booked 12 A/C dormitory beds with attaced bathroom with 3 transaction ids nos. 0000618461, 0000618460 and 0000618463. When we went at Katra guest house, we were told that by the General Manager that we will get 6 bedded family rooms with common bathroom., as they have allotted the said a/c dormitory beds to some other group. I was shocked that how come, it can be allotted to some one else, when I had done the booking online.When I told them that we have booked online for a/c dormitory beds having attached toilet, they told that it is not written anywhere in your confirmation printout, and it is same as 6 bedded room and you will have to take that room only. I also told them that it is clearly written in your site about the lodging facility and on the basis of that, I had done the bookings. But the G.M was rude and was not at all listening to us.
As we had no choice, we reluctantly took the rooms. The bathroom was giving foul smell and also the geyser was not sufficient for all the bathrooms. Overall, it was a very bad experience.There is also only one van which is there for pickup/drop in.
I now request you to refund back my full amount as I as not given the rooms as per bookings
