I have purchased the Rapid Ambition Plus (TDI) at Mahavir Auto, Somajiguda, Hyderabad on 20th April 2013. Since the very beginning I've had problems with the sales representative (Mr. Sathish) and the sales manager. Firstly, I never wanted the delivery of the vehicle on 20th of April since I planned this purchase for 24th of April (which is for my first wedding anniversary). But the staff from Mahavir Auto had forced me to take the delivery of the vehicle on 20th (which is when I booked the vehicle) or I will lose a great opportunity of getting some free accessories. After like having discussions for about 3 hours, they finally convinced me to take the delivery of the vehicle. I wanted to trade my existing Skoda Octavia to the Rapid and applied for a bank loan for the rest of the amount. They made some valuation of my car and gave me a quote of Rs. 4,45,000 at the time of booking the vehicle which they later changed to Rs. 4,35,000. I got angry but since I have already paid the booking advance and the loan process is also done, I didn't have an option but to go ahead. Next, after taking the delivery of the vehicle, I was supposed to get the balance amount (yes, I got loan for 8Lcs and the cost of my vehicle was Rs, 4,35,000 which sums up to Rs. 12,35,000) and Mahavir Motors refused to pay the excess amount on the same day saying they should wait till the trade-in amount is disbursed and promised me the chq in two days. And, the vehicle was not fitted with the accessories which they have promised me at the time of our discussions and when asked for the same, they said they don't have the stock of mud flaps, reverse camera, and LED display and will be able to give me only when the stock arrives. At this time I really got pissed off and completely denied to take the delivery of the vehicle until the promised accessories are fitted to the vehicle. Then they start to threaten me, they said they would not give me the delivery of the vehicle for like another one month since that will be the last car of my choice of color and all and also said they won't return the booking advance which I have already paid neither my Octavia. At this point of time, I really had no other option but to go ahead and take the vehicle home. Later I realized that they were forcing me to take the delivery of the vehicle since Skoda Rapid is releasing a Prestige edition which comes with the reduced price of Rs 100000 which really disappointed me. I asked 'em to replace my vehicle to the Prestige Edition and I'm willing to pay the difference amount to which they bluntly denied. I have again made a couple of calls to remind them that they are to return the excess amount (which is Rs. 2,68,689) and also the accessories to which they didn't respond.
