Sir,
i have union bank of india's credit card(4391550000753262) in the name of lalit meena. i used to used it for irctc ticketing mostly. last year i did't use my credit card for atleast 6 months. in nov2012 i got credit card statement and found many invalid entries of Rs9276/-. many international transaction shown on that statement. i immediately call union bank of India call center and told him that i did't use that much amount that month i only booked a ticket from irctc. he suggested me to block my card. i followed him and instructed him to please block my card. next day i called up union bank of india credit card department and also mail there and told him about all this wrong happening . they told me please give what ever your complaint in writing. next day i mailed them a scanned copy of request letter(attached below) duly signed by me to them and seek immediate removal of thos entries from credit card statement.. few days later they sent me a letter and told me to please pay all the money,, in future if we got back your money from visa authorities then we credit in your account..IT MEANS WE DON'T TAKE YOU SERIOUSLLY FIRST YOU PAY THE MONEY THEN WE SEE WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU..
I replied them that “i paid the amount only that i used for irctc ticketing and remaining amount i am not liable to pay. from the last three months”. they sent credit card statement by calculating interest on that amount and now amount goes bigger. last month I paid all the money because every month they sent the statement with calculated interest on last months due amount(means wrong entry amount+last months charge interest). SO WHO IS THE RESPONISBLE PERSON FOR THAT, ITS TOTALLY BANK’S SYSTEM FAILURE THAT SOME IT EXPERT HACK HIS SYSTEM AND USED CREDIT CARD OF CUSTOMERS...
ITS VERY PAINFULL ,IRRITATING AND CAUSES MENTAL DISTURBANCE ....PLEASEEEE HELP ME OUT.I ATTACHED MY REQUEST LETTER BELOW THAT I SENT BANK OFFICERS EARLIER.
I e-mail them about 40-45 times in last few months(all the emails I attached below) . initially they responded and seek all the information about those entries when I provided them they told me to please wait for 45 days. Now 6 months have been passed but no result came so far. I request you to strongly put up this matter to union bank of India.
