Yemenia Airline plane No- IY854 was scheduled to be arrived in Mumbai Intl Airport at 3.15 AM on 1st MAY.That's why i had booked a connecting flight air ticket on Jet airways to bhubaneswar which was scheduled to depart at 6.20 AM. However, Yemenia flight arrived 4.30AM instead of 3.15 AM. Further, when i was waiting to receive my 4checked-in baggages in the belt, nothing arrived. I had to go through immigration clearance and then claiming my baggages on the belt. I immediately finished with mmigration clearance by 4.45 AM and then went to claim the baggage on the belt. I kept on waiting until 5.10AM until all baggages were downloaded on the belt. But i found mine were missing. Then i reported this in the Yemenia counter for baggages where few persons were sitting. I kept on telling them that i had to catch a domestic connecting flight at 6.20AM. But, they were too slow in their work and they asked me to describe my missing 4baggages and to register them in a form which was really time taking. So while i was completing the form, i was telling them to hurry up, but they told me not to worry and they would let me board the jetair flight without any proble. we finished the filling up the form at 5.45 AM and an yemenia executive called Mr. Desouza asked me to rushed to the jet air counter. When we arrived in the counter at 5.55AM, we found the security check-in counter was close. So i missed the flight. Then he took me to Jet air reservation counter to rebook the flight for the day after. We i was asked if i was ready to pay 3857 rupees as an additional fee for the nextday flight. Then i asked Yemenia people, they said they can't pay in cash but they will be responsible to reimburse the amount for that additional fees and also fees for a local hotel for staying overnight bcz my flight would be at 6.20AM the next morning. They told me to pay for everything, for rebooking of the air ticket and also the hotel fees and email them the bills for the imbursement. So I paid for everything and email all the bills of 5782 rupees (3857 for airticket rebooking and 1925 rupees for the hotel) as total for rebooking of the air ticket and hotel fee for a night. I pain 5782 rupees and then email them, but now the refuse to reimburse the amount. They are just telling me that they will try to locate my missing baggages and send them to my home by a courior but they refuse to pay reimburse the amount of 5782 rupees for both hotel and rebooking air charges. I am too much stressed now. I am very sad to due to their carelessness and rude behaviour. Please help me to get my right bcz only for yemenia delay and missing baggages, i missed my domestice plane, then rebooked it with extra money and stayed in a hotel their. I can't afford to pay for all there expenses. But they are refusing. So please take a look at my tickets and biils attached and help me.
