Complaint Details
I have provided with one Vodafone 3G data plan micro Sim @ Rs 300 on 29th Apr, 2013. The micro sim no. is 9820307279. This arrangement was made by Vodafone executive named Noor. The receipt of Rs 300 was of vodafone association partner named as "Systematic Knowledge Services Pvt Ltd". The person named Bipin gave me this receipt no. 3058 and collected Rs 300 and at the same time he took my signed documents for verification like passport copy, photograph and plan selection acknowledgement. I have copies of all these docs. The plan selected is postpaid of Rs 850 per month with 5 GB data. It's been now 7 days to-date but my no. has not become active. These people have assured me that number will start in 48 hours but till date it's not started. After lot of argument with vodafone customer care on 3 Apr, 2013, I came to know that the sim no. given to me is a prepaid no. and in past someone was using this and it's stopped now and might be reissued in my name. It was then found after checking with their sale dept - "Systematic Knowledge Services Pvt Ltd" that my verification was not successful when Vodafone executive came at my home. To this they admitted that there was one mistake from their end that they forgot to give my alternate no. to verification executive so that when I was not available at home (being bachelor) then he could call me and I could guide him to verify about me with my neighbours.
Further to this Mr Noor of "Systematic Knowledge Services Pvt Ltd" who sold me this no. apologised for inconvenience caused and assured me that my verification will be done in next 24 hours which means by 4th April verification will be done and no. will start after that. He also took my alternate no.s 9820395895 and 9322787950 in order to give to executive if again am not at home. But to a surprise again no one turned up for verification at my place on 4th April as committed though I was at home. Now today it's 3rd day on 5th April and back to square one am chasing Mr Noor on 9920206584 but phone is off. I called Vodafone care executive on Vodafone customer care 111 and after a lot of insisting tried to talk with senior supervisor Mr. Abhijit and Mr Abhijit while assuring me to talk with "Systematic Knowledge Services Pvt Ltd" and tell me whats the problem rather disconnected my call 2 times. In light of above all bad experiences and lot of chasing but at the end my number still not getting to work after wasting 7 days, has made me frustrated very badly. The Vodafone people are dumb and just keep on playing around with customer sentiments. They are not bothered at all to give a service / solution to the client at all once the money is paid to them. I request consumer complaint cell here to kindly take immediate action on this matter to sort this problem and teach Vodafone a lesson so that many other people like me don't land up in frustration for so many days.
