Dear Sir,
We had Purchased an Onida Split Air conditioner 2Ton from Shri Sharda Enterprises Bilaspur C.G. on 25.04.2009.
The warranty for any defect in the compressor was for 5 years.
Our Ac stopped working from 8.4.2013.
We complained to Shree Sharda Enterprises on 8.4.2013. They sent their mechanic on 9.4.2013. He told us after checking that the compressor of the Machine was gone and it is covered under the warranty of 5 years, suggested us to call the company' helpline no. and lodge a complaint.
We lodged a complaint on Onida's helpline no. +91-731-3988900 vide complaint no. 13049556380106 on 10.4.2013
They said they will send some engineer to fix the problem.
No engineer visited us however they took input from the mechanic of Shree Sharda Enterprises and asked us to submit the copy of bill so that they could send a requisition for compressor replacement.
We provided them on demand.
That requisition didn't reach them and we got cell no. of Mr. Prasad responsible for services in the region of Chhattisgarh. After continuous perusal he asked us to mail the scan copy of bill which we send him immediately.
Mr. Prasad reported us that our compressor has been dispatched from the company on 22nd of April. It reached Bilaspur on 29th of April But the issue was not over as they have sent a compressor of 1.5 ton capacity.
We are a software company registered under the aegis of STPI and this Ac was installed in the development room where a team of 6 software engineers are working from morning 9 to 7 in the evening.
Half of my engineers got severe health issues and 2 of them were reporting continuous vomiting.
Finally when we could not get any help from the company we are lodging this complaint with a hope that there is somebody in this country who could convey to these companies that service is equally and essentially important as sales and Onida should indemnify for our losses.
