Complaint Details
My i10 car was taken to authorised dealer service centre at chennai for general check up. Did PMS . On delivery, drove about 300 kms. Vehicle stopped suddenly in the middle of the road , due to overheating. Was not able to apply gears. No sevice centre in a radius of about 100 kms. No towing facility available with the centres in chennai. No details given by the helpline to contact any responsible person from company. Had to make own arrangements to get it towed back to chennai.Service centre covered up its faults by blaming normal wear and tear for clutch failure.Said advance warning not possible. No warranty available. Said clutches are not checked during PMS /general checkup. In effect no remedy for my sufferings and no compensation.
Letter sent to MD replied only by those against whom complaints made. Nobodyelse in the company seems to be bothered.
