Complaint Details
I am a customer of V.J. AYURVEDIC TREASURES who make Ayurvedic Hair Oil at home and sell it to customers. I bought this Hair Oil pack for Rs 10000/- as per the price details in their website in August 2012. Now I wanted to buy again and the website still says Rs 10000/-.

However, the owner Mahalaxmi Venkatesh, who runs the company from the below address she is demanding Rs 14000/- when inquired over phone. Also she gives no reason for increasing the price by 40% within 6 months. Also, she is refusing to provide any RECEIPT for the payment. When asked why NO RECEIPT - the answer is "I have no time for all this". This is very disturbing.

Request the government to control the price of products that are being sold privately at exorbitant rates , although the company is registered under government.

I am attaching the screenshot of the website with price details as on 11 May 2013 which clearly shows Rs 10000/- but she is demanding Rs 14000/- over phone.
