my sister meghana N P got admitted to hospitals for delivery. she had BP around 130/90 to 150/90. also ahe was not able pass urine like normal. Dr. shylaja shetty, was aware of this and told that this issues are normal during such times. No medications were given for this problem. later, due to urine passing problem, the liquid content got stocked inside her body and her legs handa neck started bulging and felt uneasy in her normal routine. later Dr said that she will be out from monday till thursday 13/05/2013 -16/05/2013 ao Dr shylaja insisted us to go for cesarien in order to avoid complications. On 12/05/2013 morning she got admitted and was taken into OT. i guess the operation started at 8:30 and went on till 10:30Am.
Later around 1:00 PM i was told that her operation was very critical as water went inside her lungs. she was immediately shifted to MICU for further treatment and the baby was shifted to NICU and it was under phototherapy. today when i met the doctor,he says as if she was about to die and we have saved her from great complications. the baby is fine, when enquired the nicu doctor her reply was you can take the baby, dont know the logic her say. how can i keep the baby outsidr the micu when his mother is in MICU. I dont think anyvody responsible would give such suggestions.
the charges are illogical. my sister inside MICU will be charged differently for the same services rendered. for example if i choose single room for her,the micu charges would be around 30000 per day. in case if i choose twin bed with other patients my charges would be around 15000-20000 per day. its very paining to hear from one of the staff, that i charge different amount for the same services rendered inside the MICU.
my request is to ban different charges for same services rendered inside MICU
