Complaint Details
I, Vijay Pal Singh sent a package (AWB no. 13902239455) by Bluedart Express Ltd. on 14th May 2013 to Sector 82 of Faridabad. I paid Rs 620 for 1.5 kg package. The package was handed over at their Sewri West office).
On inquiring on 17th May 2013, for the status of the package, I was informed by Ms Sheetal & Mr. Shael of Bluedart customer care (022-28241234) that Sector 82, Faridabad, area is not covered under their delivery zone and that the addressee can collect it from their Faridabad office. The consumer care even gave me local Faridabad office address (Ground Floor, Khasra no. 1163, Sector 20B, Vidya Mansion, Adjacent Neelam Flyover, Faridabad) to collect the package. On checking location I found out that their office is hardly seven kilometers from the delivery address.
I fail to understand that why did BLUEDART cheat me by taking package and charging me twice the amount then regular courier service and then informed me that the addressed area is not covered under their service zone. This is clear and blatant case of cheating.
