Complaint Details
1.On 16.04.13 I converted my Postpaid Corporate Connection to Prepaid Connection and requested for discontinuation of caller tune which was part of corporate plan. I paid the total outstanding bill including the caller tune charges till 03.05.13 as asked by the executive at Vodafone Store, Rajouri Garden.
2. Connection was activated on 19.04.13 and during tele verification it was informed to me that in case I recharge for Rs 125 I will get the full talk time. But I got the talk time for
Rs 109.25 only.
3. On 19.04.13 caller tune which was available for my postpaid connection was also activated without any request and charges for the same was also deducted. This is in-spite the fact that the request for discontinuation was made while converting from postpaid to prepaid and charges was already paid till 03.05.13
4. Request for disconnection of caller tune was also made by me at 111 on 19.04.13 and SMS was received at 14.23 hrs that it will be deactivated within 4 hrs but it is still continuing.
5. The similar request was made by me to customer care on 01.05.13, 07.05.13, 08.05.13, 09.05.13, 24.05.13 and SMS revert was received that it will be deactivated within 4 hrs but it is still continuing.
6. The various E Mails sent to Customer Care, Nodal Officer and Appellate Delhi to discontinue the Caller Tune and Refund of charges debited as well as full talk time for Ist recharge as informed yielded no result though I received a SMS on 09.05.13 that my request for refund is processed.
7. On 17.05.13 SMS was received that Rs 30 will be debited towards Caller Tune and in case it is to be deactivated I need to send a SMS to 144.
8. On sending the SMS for deactivation I received the response that “Deactivation is not allowed for Corporate Subscribers." This was a real shock for me as the corporate plan was already deactivated on 16.04.13 and all the privileges attached to it was already withdrawn by the company.
7. In response to my request for portability I got a call on 19.05.13 from Mohd Usama and the whole situation was again explained to him who again assured that caller tune will be deactivated within 4 hours.
8. In-spite of these charges for caller tune of Rs 30 was recovered on 19.05.13 and caller tune is still active in-spite of number of mails and telecons.
Request to provide full talk time for Ist recharge, refund of charges for caller tune recovered on 19.04.13 & 19.05.13 is ignored and no response is being provided.
Request your intervention & advice for the recourse for deficiency in services and harassment. The copy of various mails sent is attached for your reference
